FOOD CONTACT APPLICATIONS
Soltex chemicals are suitable applications that come into contact with food and liquids. This includes kitchen utensils, cutlery, blenders and processing equipment, food storage containers, small kitchen appliances such as toasters, kettles and microwaves, and caps, seals and closures.
Some of the applications include incidental food contact in aluminum foils, steel foils, food wrap, cling films and food/beverage cans. Lubricants and greases are used in kitchen applications that require a clean, non-oxidizing lubricant with low odor and no taste.
Soltex synthetic and non-synthetic base stocks meet the certification for National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) H-1 listing for food contact including:
- Polyalphaolefins (PAO)
- Base Oils (Group II and Group III)
